Paris Theme HT2016

[:fr]paris

As you have probably heard from your children (and from us), we are working around the theme of the beautiful city of Paris during this first semester.

We have been having a fascinating introduction about the creation and building of the city, “almost” visited its current main monuments, talked about how it is divided into 20 different districts. We have been having a whole session about the Eiffel Tower, from its construction to being the most visited paying monument in the world, 2 delicious sessions about the Parisian gastronomy and about the Parisian subway and streets.

We have been working around extracts from the movies ” Ratatouille” for the youngest pupils and “Le bossu de Notre Dame” and “Un monstre à Paris” for the older pupils. During today’s session, we will be continuing our journey in the city of love with a guided tour at the Louvre.

After höstlov, we will continue exploring Paris and we are all very much looking forward to present you your children’s artworks and achievements during the end of year Party December 19th. Don’t hesitate to already book the date in your calendar (You can even write “trip to Paris” for the name of the event). You’ll for sure have a taste of Paris.

See you all very soon for today’s class.[:sv]paris
